about me and photography

Photography entered my life like a silent revelation. It wasn't love at first sight, but a gradual discovery that since 2016 has changed the way I look at things.

Like my favorite motto – depth and lightness – my relationship with photography also moves between these two poles: the depth of the gaze and the lightness of discovery.

At first, I was focused on technique: apertures, shutter speeds, focus. But over time, I discovered that the true magic of photography lies not only in its mechanics and rules, but in its ability to transform our gaze. The lens has become a lens not just for capturing images, but for rediscovering the world around me. It's amazing how, through the viewfinder, familiar places and objects can reveal new aspects and tell new stories.

In the space I've called "Double Exposure Stories," I share my shots accompanied by the words that inspired them or inspired them. They are moments of light—both in the literal sense of the play of light captured by the lens and as moments of inner enlightenment. For me, each shot captures a personal experience, a moment of connection with my surroundings, an emotion I wanted to capture and preserve.

But there's more. As Roland Barthes wrote, images live a second life through the gaze of others. And this is precisely the soul of my project: to share not only my photographs and the thoughts that accompany them, but to allow each image to find its own interpretation in the viewer's mind. It's a silent dialogue made of light, shadow, and words, where each shot can become the starting point for new reflections and discoveries. Each photograph thus becomes a double story: the one I experienced and the one that forms in the mind of the viewer.

Thank you for being here. I'm happy to share my shots and the thoughts that accompany them with you, allowing them to resonate freely and find new paths in your gaze. If you want, I'd be happy to find out what echoes they have created in you.
